More than 30 years of cleaning excellence
In 1977, A&D Total Cleaning began business as “We Are Family Cleaning.” And, as the name implies, they were just that...family. Owner, Kathi Didion, along with brother-in-law, Brad Didion, and brother, Ed Andra, started their first commercial cleaning job using supplies from Kathi’s Toledo area home. The Andra family had long been teased about being “cleaning nuts” because they were obsessed with cleaning, and healthful cleaning...and not only did they love it, they were good at it! Kathi decided to use her talents, but this was just a part-time job intended for Kathi to generate a little extra income...never a thought was given to really becoming a full-time contract cleaning company.
Then, in 1984, Kathi’s husband joined the crew...bringing with him years of practical business experience from the restaurant management field. A new name along with a more professional image and style were introduced. Ray was determined to change peoples’ images of the cleaning profession and of the people providing the hard work. Words such as “janitor” were replaced with “cleaning professional.” At A&D Total Cleaning, employees were not just “employees”, but were truly MEMBERS of a team.

A&D Total Cleaning prides itself on being a first-class organization based on integrity and pride, and they apply this in their relationships with their customers and fellow cleaning members. Focusing on their goals and becoming the best in their field, they grew from their first client in 1977 to over 60 clients in the Toledo area– with no advertising. Just word of mouth and the phone book.
A&D Total Cleaning not only has high standards in how they clean, but in who they hire - because they realize the success of their company lies in the hands of the people doing the work. All cleaning members are carefully chosen and of the highest caliber.

Keep a spray bottle of distilled water on hand for spills on the furniture. Never use tap water as the chemicals in the water will leave a ring that will be almost impossible to remove.
